We specialize in vintage Nakamichi repair of cassette decks and other electronics from the “Golden Era” of Nakamichi.  We do not work on the SoundSpace line or any more recent products.

Nakamichi cassette decks need periodic maintenance.  If one has been sitting unused for any length of time it's likely to need the rubber replaced and the lubricants cleaned out and replaced.  We specialize in repairs and rebuilds of any Nakamichi cassette deck from any vintage.  We have a complete stock of the rubber parts necessary and the set up and test jigs required.  We can usually accomplish a rebuild at a lower cost than others and generally have a turnaround time in the one to two week range.

Nakamichi

We service Krell electronics from any vintage.  As you probably know, Krell electronics from the eighties and early nineties run quite warm.  The electrolytic capacitors inside have a twelve to fifteen year life expectancy and should be replaced in these units.  It is far better to replace caps proactively since when one fails it is likely to cause much more extensive problems.  Also, as these caps age the change value and begin to degrade the sound quality.  We have access to the correct replacement parts and can return your electronics to their top performance.
